Silk products need to be cleaned only when needed. They should be dry cleaned to preserve the color saturation and sheen of the product. Use a steamer to smooth out small wrinkles on silk. Do not iron directly on the fabric as it can cause fabric burns.

Silver jewelry should not be stored in zip lock bags. Airtight bags will give the jewelry a sallow patina. Only store in Harkoi cloth bags or in your jewelry box. If needed, you can gently clean with a jewelry cloth.

Gold jewelry can be stored in any soft bag or lined box. As the gold is 20 karats, it is malleable and prone to scratches. It will not tarnish as it is solid gold but can accumulate dirt and sweat due to wear. We recommend getting your gold jewelry professionally cleaned by a jeweler.

All the products you see on Harkoi are completely hand made. This gives each piece its unique individuality and no two will ever be alike. We have tried our best to show detail and color as close as possible to the physical product in the photographs on the site. But what you see on your screen might may vary slightly from seeing the products in person. 

Our products all come with Harkoi tags, a handwritten note, wrapped in custom eco-friendly tissue paper, in a cloth pouch (for jewelry only), sealed in a Harkoi box and mailed in a compostable shipper. If you are giving a Harkoi product as a gift, please include a message on checkout and we will handwrite a card for you.
